27-Year-Old Found Stabbed To Death On Blue Point Beach A murder investigation is underway after a 27-year-old man was found stabbed to death on a Long Island beach.  Suffolk County Police responded to Blue Point Beach, at the end of Blue Point Avenue, after a passerby reported a body on the beach at around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 4. Officers located Carlos Lopez, 27, of Central Islip, with multiple stab wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
