Serial Illegal Dumper Arrested: Wall Twp Police
A 28-year-old Long Branch man was arrested for illegally dumping numerous times in Wall Township, authorities announced Thursday, Sept. 17.
Between Wednesday, Aug. 12 and Tuesday, Sept. 8, officers responded to a business on Campus Parkway on three separate occasions regarding unauthorized dumping, Wall Township police said.
Investigators determined that the dumped materials, which appeared to originate from storage units, totaled more than 10 cubic yards and resulted in removal costs exceeding $2,000, police said.

Watervliet Suspect Swipes Business Credit Card, Racks Up Thousands In Charges: Police
A Capital Region man stole more than $3,000 from a business by swiping a company credit card, police said.
Orquis M. Milan Rosario, 24, of Watervliet, had no known relation to the business but managed to acquire the card, New York State Police said.
State troopers began investigating on Tuesday, Aug. 25 following a complaint from an Albany County company about unauthorized purchases on a company card, authorities said.
The probe led police to Milan Rosario, who used the card “numerous times” throughout July and August, according to state police.

A suspect has been arrested in the killing of a man outside a Long Island strip mall, police said Friday, Sept. 18.
Jorge Alexander Huezo Villatoro, 35, of El Salvador, has been charged with second-degree murder in the killing of Tadeo Alvarado Chavez in Uniondale, the Nassau County Police Department said.
Alvarado Chavez, 40, of Roosevelt, was found dead near 979 Nassau Road in Uniondale around 4 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, police said.
Officers responded to a call for an aided person near the address and found Alvarado Chavez, who was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

At 11:46 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 12, officers observed a blue Hyundai traveling east on Route 46 failing to maintain its lane of travel, Mount Olive police said. A Pennsylvania man wanted on child rape charges was arrested after arriving at Philadelphia International Airport on a flight from Qatar, federal authorities said.
Dev Poudel, 50, of Mechanicsburg, was taken into custody Saturday, Sept. 12, after arriving from Doha, Qatar, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said in a release Thursday, Sept. 17.
CBP officers turned Poudel over to Upper Allen Township Police detectives, authorities said.
